Egress Device

The Egress Device offers protection from problems that may arise from a power outage during a fire or blackout. This device, which is activated by pulling a lever, will release door motor resistance and lift the door 3 feet from the ground permitting egress. This device is ideal for malls.

Function
 Open only. Emergency egress device with pull handle in a flush mount enclosure. User pulls down the handle to disengage the operator form the door or gate, allowing the door to be opened manually or by spring tension. This device can only be used on operators with a manual disconnect mechanism.

Provides a public means for manual operation of a storefront grille. Attractive faceplate mounts flush on store wall and contains a pull handle to disconnect operator from grille, thereby allowing the grille to be opened manually or by spring tension. Faceplate is silk-screened with user instructions. Comes with 15' or 30' of cable. Must be field installed.
