Combining Fire Protection and Service

Model Description
Alpine's Fire-Tite Rolling Door is a service door are Factory Mutual Approved and/or Classified by Underwriter's Laboratories for up to 4 hours of fire protection. The Fire-Tite is designed as a normal service door and can be operated manually or with one of Alpine's superior motors. In the event of a fire, the fusible link will melt at 165° F, causing the door to close automatically. The Fire-Tite is also available with a number of optional Redi-Release devices. An Oversize Door Certificate can be provided for doors exceeding 162 square feet in area or 13’ 6”(W) x 12’ 0”(H) feet in either direction. The Fire-Tite can be constructed of galvanized steel and stainless steel and is available in a number of different finishes. The Fire-Tite is also approved by Factory Mutual and New York MEA.
Alpine’s Fire-Tite IMB V7 has all the features and functions as the standard Fire-Tite with the addition of insulated slats. The slats are insulated with flame and sound retardant mineral wool fiber. The fiber has Surface Burning Characteristics of Flame Spread = 0, and Smoke Developed = 0 (As per ASTM E 84). It is F.M. Approved and U.L. Classified for up to 4 hours of fire protection.
Alpine’s Auto Fire-Tite has the same features as the Fire-Tite with controlled automatic closing by one of Alpine's Redi-Reset Motors (Models FS, NFS, FDC, or FDCL). The Auto Fire-Tite can be connected to smoke detectors and fire alarms as well as any building alarms. The Redi-Reset operators eliminate the complication of a manual reset of the door after drop testing or activation. The Auto-Fire Tite is also labeled for 4 hours of fire protection by UL, FM, and NYC MEA.
Alpine’s Auto Fire-Tite IMB V7 has all the same features as the regular Auto Fire-Tite with the addition of IMB V7 slats for sound and thermal insulation.
Alpine’s Fire Shut is a counter shutter approved by Underwriter's Laboratories for up to 4 hours of fire protection. It can be operated manually or with a motor, and is activated by the melting of a fusible link. It is ideal for use in small openings that requiring fire protection, such as cafeteria or kitchen windows. The Fire Shut comes in galvanized or stainless steel with a variety of finishes.
Alpine’s Auto Fire-Shut has the same features as the Fire Shut with the addition of either a RediReset (Models FS, NFS, FDC, or FDCL) or Redi-Reset II operator.
Alpine’s Smoke Fire-Tite has all the features of the Fire-Tite with the addition of an "S" rating for smoke leakage. The Smoke Fire-Tite utilizes a vinyl smoke seal on the bottom bar and brush seals on the guides and lintel to stop the movement of smoke through the door, preventing property damage and health risks.
Alpine’s Smoke Fire-Shut has all the features of the Fire-Shut with the addition of an "S" rating for smoke leakage. The Smoke Fire-Shut utilizes a vinyl smoke seal on the bottom bar and brush seals on the guides and lintel to stop the movement of smoke through the door, preventing property damage and health risks.
Alpine’s Fire-Storm is a combination of the features of Alpine's Redi-Storm and Fire-Tite models. It is Dade County Approved for high windloads (up to 187 mph) as well as UL, FM, and MEA approved for fire protection. It comes in galvanized or stainless steel and in a variety of different finishes.
Alpine’s Auto Fire-Storm has the same features as the Fire-Storm with the addition of either a RediReset (Models FS, NFS, FDC, or FDCL) or Redi-Reset II operator.
Alpine’s Fire-Storm IMB V7 has the same features as the standard Fire-Storm with the addition of IMB V7 slats for sound and thermal insulation.
