The
Fire-Storm® IMB is a combination of the
features of Alpine's Redi-Storm® and Fire-Tite®
IMB models. It is Dade County Approved
for high windloads (up to 187 mph)
as well as UL and MEA approved
for fire protection. It comes in galvanized
or stainless steel and in a variety
of different finishes.
Fire-Storm® IMB curtains are constructed
of insulated 7/8" thick slats, and can
be finished with powder coating or baked
enamel finishes.
The metal on metal insulated slats
have a 7/8" foamed-in-place urethane core
which bonds the metal skin and strengthens
the slat. Each door is equipped with a
22 gage steel hood formed to fit the contour
of the end brackets and durable ductile
iron windlocks with 1/4" semi-solid
rivets. Our door supports
and brackets are all steel plates no
less than 1/4" thick.
Alpine's Torsion Counterbalance Assembly
is state of the art, providing maximum
security and ease of use.
