3 and 4 Hour Approved for Doors in Dividing Fire Walls with Openings not Exceeding 152 sq. ft. in area. • 1.5 Hour Approved for Doors, in Vertical Shaft Openings not Exceeding 152 sq. ft. in area. • .75 Hour Approved for Doors in Corridor or Room-Partition Opening not Exceeding 152 sq. ft. in area. • 1.5 Hour Approved for Doors in Exterior Wall Opening not Exceeding 152 sq. ft. in area.

The Fire-Storm® is a combination of the features of Alpine's Redi-Storm® and Fire-Tite® models. It is Dade County Approved for high windloads (up to 187 mph) as well as UL and MEA approved for fire protection. This Overhead Door comes in galvanized or stainless steel and in a variety of different finishes.

Fire-Storm® curtains are constructed of 2 3/4" flat steel slats, and can be finished with powder coating or baked enamel finishes. Each door is equipped with a 22 gage steel hood formed to fit the contour of the end brackets and durable ductile iron windlock with 1/4" semi-solid rivets. Our door supports and brackets are all steel plates no less than 1/4" thick. Alpine's Torsion Counterbalance Assembly is state of the art, providing maximum security and ease of use.
