The Auto Fire-Tite® roll down fire door has the same features as the Fire-Tite® fire door with controlled automatic closing by one of Alpine’s Redi-Reset® Motor, hand chain or hand crank options. The Redi-Reset fire feature saves time. The Auto Fire-Tite® can be connected to smoke detectors and fire alarms as well as any building alarms. The Redi-Reset® options eliminate the complication of a manual reset of the door after drop testing or activation. The Auto Fire-Tite® is also labeled for up to 4 hours of fire protection by UL, FM, and NYC MEA. The Auto-set fire feature is convenient and easy to use.
Auto Fire-Tite® curtains are constructed of galvanized or stainless steel in 2 3/4″ flat and 3″ curve slats, and can be finished with powder coating or baked enamel finishes. Each smoke door is equipped with a 22 gauge steel hood formed to fit the contour of the end brackets. Durable ductile iron endlocks with 1/4″ semi-solid rivets. Our fire and smoke door supports and brackets are all steel plates no less than 1/4″ thick. Alpine’s Torsion Counterbalance Assembly is state of the art, providing maximum security and ease of Redi-Reset fire use.
