Position: Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative

We are presently hiring for an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative position for an international manufacturer of Rolling Door systems based in New York.

The ideal candidate has sales and or customer service experience; excellent phone etiquette with an outgoing personality.

We are looking for motivated, hungry, self-starter to both service existing customers and excel with growing these accounts.

This is an on-site position in our East Setauket, NY office, not a remote position. 

Job Description:

  • Provide prompt service and estimating to existing accounts
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead/estimate follow-up and existing account relationship building.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and provide prompt communication and resolution to problems
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly/annual quotas
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

Skills and Experience:

  • Must have sales aptitude and be willing and able to learn an intricate product.
  • Strong phone presence and experience with dozens of customer calls per day
  • Preference for commercial/industrial back round

Position: Scheduling and Logistics Coordinator

We are presently hiring for the Scheduling and Logistics Coordinator position for an international manufacturer of Rolling Door systems based in New York.

The ideal candidate has scheduling and logistics experience; who is highly reliable, detailed and organized with excellent communication skills.

We are looking for motivated, self-starter to work with manufacturing and operations to grow our business.

This is an on-site position in our East Setauket, NY office, not a remote position.

Job Description:

  • Develop and distribute production schedules and work orders to all departments and factory staff.
  • Lead daily and weekly scheduling/production meetings and create plan accordingly with all necessary personnel.
  • Coordinate with accounting department to ensure all payments are in full and/or account is in good standing prior to shipping.
  • Verify customers pickup schedules
  • Coordinate with customers, drivers, sales staff and logistic personnel of scheduled completion of work and provide routine manufacturing lead time updates to sales and management.
  • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements are available against the following scheduled priority orders.
  • Assist with logging in and onboarding of new factory personnel.
  • Person must be flexible enough to adapt to changes in scheduling, able to think on the fly, and able to handle high-stress decision-making scenarios. The production coordinator has a hand in all parts of production, and so they must have ability to learn and gain excellent working knowledge of the organization and industry. They may also need to conduct research and complete paperwork as required by their team or supervisors.
  • Conduct comparison analysis and present daily and monthly reports to management on data performance to plan.
  • Investigate alternative distribution processes effectiveness for customers as required.
  • Perform on going evaluation and review of transportation arrangement for constant improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Review daily Lading Bills for accurate billing and charges against company account
  • Instruct carrier agents and supervise for ample action and results concerning transportation.
  • Identify best cost-effective procedure of transportation.
  • Must have aptitude and be willingness to learn about intricate products.

  • Experienced scheduling and logistics planning activities

Position: Packaging & Shipping Associate

We are a leading manufacturer of security overhead door products is currently expanding and seeking candidates for entry level and experienced positions.

This is an on-site position in our East Setauket, NY office, not a remote position.

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to read a tape measure and work cooperatively.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast- paced environment producing and fabricating metal assemblies.
  • Ability to be at work on time on a daily basis.
  • Supportive of change on the shop floor.
  • Experienced with operating a forklift
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish a plus.
  • Will train if you do not have experience.

Main Job Functions:

  • Pulling orders

Position: Machine Operator

This is an on-site position in our East Setauket, NY office, not a remote position.

Job Description:

  • Offload materials from suppliers utilizing forklift and stage material in its designated location for future use.
  • Sets up and operates machine to form longitudinal bends of sheet metal coils by action of two or more roller dies to fabricate items cut to length as specified by work order.
  • Positions spindles to align roller dies and adjusts rolls to thickness of metal, using feelers, gauges, and hand tools.
  • Adjust dials and controls to set product profile and control which stops machine or activates automatic shear when specified length of strips has been run.
  • Lifts coils of metal onto uncoiler/feedrack, by overhead crane, and feed roll.
  • Directs flow of coolant onto rolls or fills oilcups when required.
  • Starts machine, observes operation, and verifies dimensions of finished products, using micrometers, gauges, and rule.
  • May verify coolant levels in machine and oil and grease moving parts as specified.

Skills & Experience:

  • Will train, Experience is a plus but not required. 
  • Roll forming set up experience a big plus. 
  • Mechanical ability needed. 
  • Will train motivated worker. 
  • Some heavy lifting required. 
  • Some English preferred, must work well with others. 
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • 1 year Manufacturing experience preferred
