Alpine Overhead Doors, Inc., a leading manufacturer of rolling overhead doors, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Erik Burgdoerfer as Director of Business Development.
In this newly created role, Burgdoerfer focuses primarily on building strategic relationships and initiatives to help fuel Alpine’s growth. These include developing Alpine’s online customer success platform, AlpineConnect™, as well as customer onboarding and dealer education initiatives. Burgdoerfer also works closely with the sales team on cultivating new partnership opportunities, and to further expanding Alpine’s dealer network.

Burgdoerfer previously enjoyed a ten year career in professional hockey, including playing in the NHL with the Buffalo Sabres and Ottawa Senators. He has amassed over 700 games in the NHL, AHL and ECHL. For a majority of that time, Burgdoerfer honed his leadership skills serving as team captain. He then hung up his skates to follow his passion for business. Burgdoerfer worked at two tech start-ups, in a business development role, helping to grow the companies through strategic partnerships.

Burgdoerfer holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and graduated with Honors.
